Message	getting a brake pad that doesn't put off a lot of dust minimizes it. Some pads are better than others when it comes to the amount of dust they make, although I wouldn't make that my most important feature when selecting a pad. Do some searching on this site to get opinions on various pads FWIW, my red calipers look fine with Metal Master Axxis pads.
